On Life

Orlando 3My life …. It’s not about you. It’s about me.

Why am I the way I am? It’s a combination of exercise, nutrition, genes and having the right mental attitude (positive). It’s a lifestyle, one I embraced a long time ago. It’s about forming the right habits. It’s about discipline. It’s also, and most importantly, about understanding you were created in God’s image; so who are we to not try to aspire towards excellence? I am not there, but I am on my way there.

Key thing is to stay true to yourself. Stay original. Understand who you are. Maximise your potential. Only then will everything turn out well. It’s not about anyone else. It’ll always be about you.

No one else has the answers to fix the problems you currently face. No one else has ‘been’ you, so how can they know what it would take to fix you? The answers always lie inside of you. I’m not saying don’t discuss your challenges with others. But it’s not everyone you can discuss with. Not everybody can be objective. Not everyone has experienced and successfully come out of a similar challenge like the one you are facing. So, basically, discuss objectively with a reasonable person, just to analyse your challenges, and to discuss possible solutions to see if all areas have been covered. You worked your way into a challenge or problem, you messed up, how would someone else fix that for you?

We’ll only make this journey on earth once, so why not make the best out of it? Live a life with no regrets, but make sure you don’t trespass on other peoples lives or rights. I’m not advocating here that you should be selfish, but don’t forget that at the end of it all, what’s going to matter to you is what the highlights of your journey were. For those who you are responsible to, love them the best way you can, but make sure your “essence” is rich and full enough to add value to their lives.

My life is not about you. Your life is not about me. Your life will always be about you.

  1. What is your definition of a good life? Go get it. There’s no time whining about what people will say. It’s your life, not theirs. #KeepItComing

  2. With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into
any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My website has a
lot of exclusive content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is
popping it up all over the internet without my agreement.

Do you know any solutions to help reduce content from being stolen? I’d certainly appreciate it.

    1. When you are good, the world wants to imitate you. It can be a blessing; has some downsides to it too. There are copyright laws that exist to help original content owners. But they’d only work when you take action in that regard.

  3. nice one, i have Always Leaved my life d way I want it regardless of Wat others think but at a point I thought it was wrong

    1. It’s not necessarily wrong to live life as you please and it also may not be ultimately beneficial. What may be important is to apply ourselves to the best of our abilities, redirect our resolutions when we learn lessons, and seek to influence others positively at every opportunity. Thanks for the comment!
